ta-da! the final look!

it's not complete - not all of the windows are painted yet, and they still need to do a 2nd coat on everything. i love it! (we've told them to hold off on the railing and porch floor, which both need to be replaced.) can't wait to get the new front door to complete the picture!

Wow! It looks great. Good choice on the color. I just love your blog. I'd never seen it until you answered my post about white marble counters and now it's in my faves. Your house is fab!

I am a lurker (well, actually a googler) - the new paint on the house really changes it up, brings the old babe forward a lot.

I am in the midst of reno'ing a 1930s house and was googling dal-tile windmill (so am really happy with your bathroom floor and the grout colour).

I will have to revisit to figure out the woodfloor colouring - mixing two colours (and I know both of those colours well) - what a great idea. Can I ask a question - do you think the colours are too red? We are trying to go with a not-to-red, moving towards, but no where near as dark as espresso. (Good description right!)

Congrats on the house - you are both doing a wonderful reno' job (we are just paying someone else to do it - and I am exhausted with all the choices.)

Wow - the whole house looks about a million times more expensive now (and yes I know that's sort of tacky to say). I, btw, have the same crappy front door. Your new one is going to look brilliant!
